Around the kitchen island

The sawhorse frame is the architecture: four legs canting outward, joined under the bench in a clean A-shape from the side. The back is one small curved upholstered panel that catches the spine without overshadowing the frame. The sawhorse frame

Four legs, one clean A.

Lain's frame is solid ash, joined under the seat so the legs read as one continuous A-shape from the side. The angle gives the chair its lateral stability without bracing struts; the upper bench supports the seat cushion directly. The wood can be left natural or finished in black stain in the order process.

Belgian fabric, made by us

Belgian fabrics and leathers, on Romanian ash.

Lain is upholstered in Belgian-mill fabrics and leathers. The frame is kiln-dried solid ash, jointed and sanded by hand, finished in natural oil or black stain. The seat is filled with HRR foam. Every Lain carries a small Mille label sewn into the seam.
